Prefer to keep changing subjects without juggling all five in one day? This 50-day MDCAT study plan rotates subject pairs through the schedule. English and Logical Reasoning appear near the beginning, and Physics starts on Day 3.

The plan at a glance

What the 50-day PDF contains
ItemWhat to expect
Study route50 numbered days
PDF length20 pages
SubjectsBiology, Chemistry, Physics, English, Logical Reasoning
Course coverage98 ePrepare chapters and 307 distinct course topics
Daily subject limitNo more than two subjects
Daily study hoursNot fixed in the PDF; finish the assigned topic blocks
Scheduled practice2,050 MCQ attempts in total, calculated from the daily targets

Daily practice totals range from 30 to 50 MCQs in this version. These are the PDF’s practice targets, not the number of questions in the MDCAT paper and not a claim that the PDF itself contains a question bank.

Who should choose the 50-day plan?

This version suits students who want a regular mix of subjects and can usually complete a chapter-sized science task in one sitting. It is less compressed than the 20–40-day PDFs, but it still expects steady progress rather than long gaps between sessions.

How this timetable is arranged

The first three days show the pattern: Biology with Chemistry, then English with Logical Reasoning, then Chemistry with Physics. English and reasoning generally receive individual chapter sessions instead of the larger bundles used in the shortest plans.

Subject coverage and scheduled sessions
SubjectCourse chaptersStudy sessionsFirst and last appearance
Biology1616Day 1 to Day 50
Chemistry2021Day 1 to Day 49
Physics1718Day 3 to Day 49
English2424Day 2 to Day 50
Logical Reasoning2121Day 2 to Day 47

A session means a subject appears on that day. One chapter can continue over several sessions, and one session can include more than one chapter. The first-to-last range does not mean that subject is studied on every intervening day.

How to use this plan without losing track

At the end of a session, note the next unfinished chapter or part. When the subject returns, begin with a brief recall check, then continue the assigned work. Switching subjects should not mean forgetting where you left off.

  1. Start with the numbered day, not a guessed weekday. Day 1 can be the day you actually begin.
  2. Read the listed topics before opening a lecture. Finish the assigned part before switching to another chapter.
  3. Attempt the MCQs yourself. Review the reason for a mistake and reattempt it later without looking at the solution.
  4. Mark what you completed. If a task is unfinished, carry that task forward visibly rather than ticking the entire day.

Keep review time in your calendar. This PDF schedules course coverage through its last day. It does not set aside a separate final revision week or full-length mock-test phase. Arrange those around your exam date and actual progress.

Does this cover the complete MDCAT syllabus?

The file covers all 98 chapters and 307 topics in the ePrepare course hierarchy used to make it, across all five subjects. Those are platform course counts, not official PMDC unit counts. Compare the topic list with the syllabus that applies to your test, and prioritise the learning outcomes actually required.

Use our MDCAT syllabus guide to review subject coverage. If you need a timetable adjusted to your own available time, see how to create a personalised MDCAT study plan.

Frequently asked questions

Can I download the 50-day MDCAT study plan?

Yes. Use Download the 50-day plan (PDF) near the top of this article. It opens the Google Drive download request for this exact file. The preview and Open in Google Drive link point to the same PDF.

How many hours should I study each day?

The PDF does not fix daily study hours. Start with the assigned topics and questions, then judge the time from your understanding and pace. The limit is two subjects, not two hours.

Are lectures and MCQ solutions included inside the PDF?

The PDF contains the schedule, topic lists, practice targets and learning links. It is not a full set of lecture notes or a solved question book. Linked learning resources may require the relevant ePrepare access.

What if I miss a day?

Keep a visible list of unfinished tasks and continue chapter parts in order. If your exam date is fixed, reassess the pace instead of repeatedly doubling the next day’s subjects. A longer plan is useful only when you actually have those days available.

How is this different from the 60-day plan?

The first three days show the pattern: Biology with Chemistry, then English with Logical Reasoning, then Chemistry with Physics. English and reasoning generally receive individual chapter sessions instead of the larger bundles used in the shortest plans.
