KMU follows PM&DC's uniform MDCAT curriculum: 180 MCQs, 3 hours, no negative marking.

PM&DC sets the difficulty at about 15% easy, 70% moderate and 15% difficult MCQs. You need 55% (99 out of 180) to be eligible for MBBS and 50% (90 out of 180) for BDS, but public college seats close far higher. Work out the score you need with the KMU aggregate calculator.
How to use KMU past papers.
Past papers work best in stages. Use them chapter by chapter while you study, timed by chapter once you know the content, mixed across subjects to practise switching, and finally as full 180-MCQ papers under exam timing.

Yes. The 2026 MCQs are from the KMU MDCAT 2026 paper (Code A) with the official KMU key. The 2025 MCQs are from the KMU MDCAT 2025 paper, with answers checked line by line by ePrepare. The question number shown is its number in that paper.
How many MCQs are in the KMU MDCAT?
180 MCQs in 3 hours, paper-based, with no negative marking: Biology 81, Chemistry 45, Physics 36, English 9 and Logical Reasoning 9, as set by PM&DC's uniform curriculum.
Who conducts the MDCAT in KPK, KMU or ETEA?
KMU conducts the MDCAT in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on PM&DC's curriculum. ETEA set the entry test in earlier years, and those older ETEA papers are still useful practice; they are in the app under the KPK filter.
Which year's KMU paper is most important?
The latest paper shows the current style best, so start there. Older KMU and ETEA papers are still valuable for concepts that repeat, as long as the topic is in the current PM&DC syllabus.
What score do I need in KMU MDCAT for a public medical college?
It depends on your Matric and FSc marks and the college. Use our KMU aggregate calculator to find the MDCAT score you need for a target aggregate, and compare it with last year's KMU closing merit.
Is there negative marking in KMU MDCAT?
No. PM&DC's MDCAT has no negative marking, so never leave an MCQ blank.
